Sanguis was clearly involved and I wasn't going to risk going down for someone else's mistake. Suzaku already knew I had the same ability from when I treated his wounds on the first day, and I knew he had Lux, so I already suspected his potential involvement as early as the investigation.
If there was a chance he'd deliberately targeted a Sanguis user because he thought he could pin it on me, I was going to get ahead of it and make it clear to everyone that I had nothing to hide.
